The European Palestinian Initiative against Apartheid and Settlements is honoured to invite you to participate in the European conference to be held in Brussels, Belgium.

Under the slogan:

Towards the formation of a European coalition to combat the apartheid regime and Israeli settler colonialism

With your distinguished presence, together we will be able to enhance knowledge, experience, and efficiency through the conference program, to develop and unify efforts within the framework of a work strategy with clear goals at the legal, media, cultural, and parliamentary levels, in addition to enhancing popular participation.

To participate in the conference, please register before October 13, 2024 (date postponed on request of several participants)

We welcome the participation of representatives of unions, human rights organizations, political parties as well as political activists, academics and journalists.

Here are some important details regarding the event:

1. Conference Schedule:
   The conference will begin at 9:00 AM. Registration opens at 8:30 AM at the entrance to the conference hall.
2. Travel Information:
   For participants arriving by air, we have provided directions to the hotel. Brussels has two airports:

• Brussels Airport (Aéroport de Bruxelles) – the main airport.
• Charleroi Brussels-South Airport – located approximately 60 km from the city.

Detailed instructions for reaching the hotel via public transportation will be sent to you.

Travel Instructions for Participants Arriving in Brussels

For participants and those flying in from abroad:

From Brussels Airport (Aéroport de Bruxelles):

• Upon arrival, take the train from the underground station directly within the airport.
• Travel to Gare Centrale station.
• From Gare Centrale, take the metro in the direction of Schuman Square.
• Get off at the fourth stop, Schuman Station.
• From there, it’s a 3-minute walk to the hotel.
• Hotel address: Aloft Hôtel, Place Jean Rey, Bruxelles 1040.

From Charleroi Brussels-South Airport (Aéroport de Charleroi Bruxelles-Sud):

• Take the green Flux bus from the airport to Gare de Midi / Sud train station.
• Inside Gare de Midi / Sud, take the metro to Schuman Station.
• From Schuman Station, walk 3 minutes to the hotel.
